TALL is tailor-made for those who want to make a difference. It meets one day a week for eight weeks. The first’s week’s session is spent engaging in a variety of self-assessment exercises designed to identify your goals and values. The next seven weeks you are exposed to a wide-array of community programs that can potentially mesh with these goals and values.
These programs are in the areas of: public safety, local and state government, education, economic and business development, the environment, health and human services, criminal justice and the arts.
Participants learn: how community programs operate; who they serve; how they’re funded; and how TALL members can contribute to these programs, through volunteering, advocacy, or fund raising.
